REKADO develops deep-technology products for the space and defence domain. Our products are built and available for demonstration under the engagement tiers set out on our contact page. We have not transferred, licensed, or exported any technology outside India. This page sets out how we handle export-control responsibility at the stage we are actually at — so that responsible practice is built in from the start, not bolted on later.

Our intent

Technology of the kind we build can fall within the scope of India's export-control framework — including the SCOMET (Special Chemicals, Organisms, Materials, Equipment and Technologies) list — and equivalent regulations in partner countries. We treat classification as a question to be settled before any transfer, not after. No REKADO technology is offered to a foreign party until we have established what, if anything, applies to it and obtained any authorisation required.

Principles we work by

• Know before we share. We will assess whether any technical material is controlled before disclosing it, and default to caution when we are unsure.
• Right people, right purpose. Sensitive technical detail is shared only with parties who have a legitimate reason to receive it.
• Demonstrations count as disclosure. Showing a working system, or releasing technical detail about how it works, can amount to a transfer of technology even when it takes place in India. We screen who is in the room before we demonstrate, not after.
• India first, responsibly global. We build in and for India, and we will engage internationally only within the bounds of Indian law and applicable export regulations.
• Formalise as we grow. On incorporation we will put a formal export-compliance process in place, with a named responsible person, and update this page accordingly.
