REKADO exists because the most important defence technology problems require starting from the governing equations — not wrapping existing commercial tools in a thin layer of software.

Every product begins in MATLAB. We validate the underlying model before a single line of application code is written. This makes our products slower to build and harder to replicate. That is the point.

We are rooted in India's space and defence ecosystem and aligned with the Atmanirbhar Bharat mandate. Our technology is Indian. Our ambition is global.

From research
to product.

Six years of research. One company. A clear mandate to build what India's defence ecosystem needs from the ground up.

2020
Independent research begins

Conceptual work on terrain intelligence and mission analytics starts. Drawing on operational flying experience, the founder begins studying the gap between what defence software promises and what operators actually need.

2022
Core methodology validated in simulation

Sub-metre terrain inference approach validated in MATLAB. Mission planning doctrine framework built from first-hand experience across multiple aircraft types and operational theatres.

2024
Product architecture defined

End-to-end product stack designed — GIS engine, AI foundation model, mission planner, and post-mission analytics suite. Hardware integration requirements specified. Core team begins forming.

2026
REKADO takes shape in Bengaluru

REKADO comes together as an early-stage venture — a small founding team beginning work across the product directions on our roadmap. Formal company registration will follow as we grow.

How we
work.

Physics before software

Every product starts in MATLAB. We do not write application code until the underlying physics is validated. This is slower. The results are better and harder to replicate.

Sovereign technology

We do not build wrappers around foreign technology stacks. Every component — GIS engine, foundation model, physics solver, hardware — is designed and owned by REKADO.

Operator-validated design

We embed with the people who will use our products before we design them. The founder flew the missions that REKADO's products are built for. That operational perspective shapes every design decision.

Responsible AI

Our AI systems are explainable by design. Models are constrained to physically valid outputs — they cannot produce results that violate the governing equations. Every output carries a confidence bound.

We are built on the Indian ecosystem and committed to it. We export technology under proper authorisation frameworks — never at the cost of Indian strategic interest.
